2016 Back-to-School Backpack Event

On Wednesday, August 17, 2016, the Heads Up Youth Foundation sponsored a Back-to-School event at Lankershim Elementary School in North Hollywood. Lankershim Elementary is a Title 1 school in the Los Angeles Unified School District serving 500 students in Pre-K through fifth grade. Every child at the school received a backpack filled with school supplies to start the new school year off right! Thanks to the staff at Lankershim Elementary, Sydney Paige and the volunteers who helped to make this event a tremendous success.
